The projects concern a newly built-up areas in Bologna. A eco-system characterizes all aspects of the projects. The zones most exposed to the sun have been planted with trees with much foliage, while the more shady areas with occasional clumps of small trees.
Wings of trees with compact foliage prevent a “wind corridor” effect. Streams of recycled rainwater form part of the covering, flow toward the center of the internal countryards and follow the footpaths.
Woods, ornamental grasses, a framework of hedges, pools rows of forgotten fruits link the several gardens.
